This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for the Arbiter Provider app and the Arbiter Client app, operated by ARBR Inc. d/b/a Arbiter Defense Group ("Arbiter"). Deletion works as described in the Client App Privacy Policy and the Provider App Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
In the app. The fastest path is in-app: an authorized administrator can delete a user account, an engagement, or an entire organization from within the platform, and clients can request deletion of their account through the Client App.
By email. You can also request deletion by emailing legal@arbiterdefense.group from the email address associated with your account. Include the app you use (Arbiter Provider or Arbiter Client) and the name of your organization or Provider Firm. We, or your Provider Firm, may need to verify your identity before completing the request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
You do not need to reinstall or access the app to submit an email request.
What is deleted
Deleting a user account removes the account's profile, credentials, assignments, and organizational memberships. Deleting an engagement removes its associated data — including intelligence products, voice notes, attachments, and messaging rooms — and the encryption keys protecting that data are destroyed following a delay of not less than twenty-four (24) hours, after which the data is unrecoverable. Live location data is never stored beyond a rolling one-hour window in the first place.
What is retained
As described in the privacy policies, certain limited records survive deletion: a user's operational contributions to an engagement are retained as part of the Provider Firm's operational record with authorship anonymized; the AI audit record (which contains no subject identity or dossier content) is retained for three years; and database backups expire on a rolling seven-day cycle. Deletion may be delayed where a litigation hold or other legal-preservation obligation applies.
